• Celebrating the cultural festivals of Kerala, India.
  • Arrange cultural as well as sports events periodically for the members.
  • Established Malayalam Mission Indonesia Chapter to promote and teach Malayalam language and culture of Kerala for the children of KSI members.
  • Arrange repatriation flights to bring stranded Indians in Indonesia to go back to India, during the times of COVID-19.
  • Organize regular visits to orphanages and foundations around JABODETBEK and provide monetary, material and non-material assistance to the needy.
  • Sponsoring the cost of education for orphans in selected orphanages / foundations.
  • Provide support and assistance to the people of Indonesia, in times of natural disasters.
  • Extend possible help and assistance at the times of natural calamities happening in India.
  • Providing financial aid to build homes as part of rehabilitating people affected by natural calamities in India, by joining hands with similar minded organizations and Government Institutions.
  • Coordinate with the Indian embassy in Jakarta and the Indian government as well as local governments in Indonesia to provide updated information to KSI members.
  • Assist KSI members or their families or anyone who needs emergency medical support including financial assistance and other means.
  • Fully standardized assistance in cases of death of its members or family members or any Indian Community members in Indonesia, to arrange formalities and legal documentation needed and then transport the bodies to their hometowns or to arrange funeral arrangements in Indonesia etc. 
  • Provide the necessary assistance to persons of Indian origin who are caught up in cases of illegal human traffic in Indonesia, and coordinate with the relevant legal authorities and the Indian embassy, ​​to send them back home safely.
  • Support and motivate athletes and artists from India, when major events are held in Indonesia (such as Asian Games or any sports events held in Indonesia).
  • Coordinate with the Indian Embassy and other Indian communities, during visits by ministries from India.
  • Coordinate with other regional organizations from India for general social purposes.
  • Arrange member’s annual general meeting and elect a new managing committee every two years.
  • Last but most importantly, promote Indonesia to Indian citizens, so as to increase trade and tourism between the two countries.
